Work Placement
To achieve this qualification, students must complete 120 hours of work in an aged care facility, with mandatory conditions as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.

Enrolment Requirements
There are no prerequisites for this course. Students are required to have proficiency in Language, Literacy and Numeracy to a minimum of ACSF Level 3.
This is assessed through an LLN test completed on site prior to enrolment. The test normally takes approximately 15–20 minutes.
Once a suitable result has been achieved, students are required to complete the Enrolment form. Students must also have a USI (Unique Student Identifier) to complete Nationally Recognised Training.

Students are required to submit valid forms of photo identification, proof of citizenship, residency or visa status and complete a student enrolment form.
You are eligible for the course if you have left school, your primary place of residence is in Western Australia, and you meet one of the applicable citizenship or visa requirements.
