Delivery & Duration

The Certificate IV in Disability Support in Warwick is delivered through a blended learning format that combines:

The classroom component is delivered over approximately 10 weeks, with classes held 4 days per week from 9:00am to 4:30pm.

In addition to classroom learning, students must complete 80 hours of vocational work placement in an approved disability or aged care facility. This placement is organised toward the end of the course and provides essential hands-on experience in real disability support environments. Rolling intakes allow students to commence training at various times throughout the year.

Students commence work placement only after all classroom training and course requirements have been completed.

Enrolment Requirements

To meet the entry requirements for the CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support, applicants must have completed one of the following qualifications:

  • CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
  • CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
  • CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability plus the required bridging skill set

Applicants must also provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) and the following documentation prior to work placement:

Eligibility is assessed individually. Students must reside in Western Australia and provide valid photo identification, proof of residency or visa status, and completed enrolment documentation.

Eligible students may access Lower Fee (government-subsidised) training.
