The venue is easily accessible for students travelling from Wanneroo via Wanneroo Road and the Mitchell Freeway (Hodges Drive exit). It is approximately a 10-minute walk from Joondalup Train Station and offers ample free on-site parking.
Delivery & Duration
The Certificate IV in Disability Support in Wanneroo is delivered through a blended learning model that combines:
- Face-to-face classroom training
- Virtual learning and supported study sessions
The classroom-based component is delivered over approximately 10 weeks, with classes held 4 days per week from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
In addition to classroom learning, students must complete 80 hours of supervised work placement in an approved disability or aged care facility. This work placement is organised and scheduled toward the end of the course, allowing students to gain real-world disability support experience. Rolling intakes enable students to commence training at multiple points throughout the year.

Work Placement
As part of the qualification, students must complete 80 hours of supervised work placement within a disability or aged care facility. Students commence work placement only after all classroom training requirements have been completed and required documentation has been provided.
Enrolment Requirements
To meet the entry requirements for the CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support, applicants must have completed one of the following qualifications:
- CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
- CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability plus the required bridging skill set
Students must provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) and the following documents prior to work placement:

- Working with Children Check
- Updated Immunisation Record (including COVID-19 and Flu)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid First Aid Certificate

Eligibility & Lower Fee Course
Eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Students must reside in Western Australia and provide valid photo ID, proof of residency or visa status, and completed enrolment documentation.
Eligible students may access Lower Fee (government-subsidised) training.
