Delivery & Duration

The Certificate IV in Disability Support in North Beach is delivered through a blended learning model combining face-to-face classroom training with supported virtual learning sessions.

The classroom-based component is delivered over approximately 10 weeks, with classes held 4 days per week from 9:00am to 4:30pm.

Students must also complete 80 hours of vocational work placement in an approved disability or aged care facility. This placement is organised toward the end of the course and provides practical experience applying disability support skill sets in real workplace environments. Rolling intakes allow students to commence training at various times throughout the year.

Enrolment Requirements

To meet the entry requirements for the CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support, applicants must have completed one of the following qualifications:

• CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
• CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
• CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability plus the required bridging skill set
