Our modern Skills Centre is conveniently located for those living in Banksia Grove WA: Unit 2/22 Winton Rd, Joondalup WA 6027. The venue is just a short drive from Banksia Grove via Joondalup Drive. We are a 10-minute walk from the Joondalup Train Station and offer extensive free on-site parking for students.
Delivery & Duration
The course is delivered using a blended learning model, combining face-to-face classroom sessions with virtual workshops. Theory delivery takes approximately 10 weeks to complete.
Beyond the classroom, a mandatory 80-hour (2-week) supervised work placement is required. This practical phase is coordinated by our team and scheduled toward the end of your studies.
Classes are held 4 days per week from 9am to 4.30pm. With our rolling intake system, Banksia Grove residents can begin their disability support courses at multiple points throughout the year.

To be awarded this qualification, students must demonstrate competency in 10 units (7 core and 3 elective):

Work Placement
To achieve full certification, students must finish 80 hours of supervised work within an aged care or disability facility. This placement is crucial for validating your skills in a professional, real-world setting. Students move into their placement once all classroom attendance requirements have been satisfied.
Enrolment Requirements
To enter the CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support, applicants must hold a prior relevant certificate. Valid entry requirements include the completion of:
- CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability); or
- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability); or
- CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability plus the bridging skill set.
Applicants must provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) and the following documents:
- National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Updated Immunisation Record (including COVID-19 and Flu)
- NDIS Screening Check
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Infection Control and Hand Hygiene Certificates
Eligibility & Lower Fee Pricing
Residents of Banksia Grove WA who are Australian citizens or permanent residents may be eligible for Lower Fee (government-subsidised) pricing through the Jobs and Skills WA program.

- Non-Concession Rate: $882.90 (Note: These fees are indicative only and subject to change based on individual circumstances during enrolment).
Fee for Service Pricing
For students who do not qualify for government subsidies, the Fee for Service total is $2,500.
- Deposit: A $1,200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your enrolment.
