Training Location

Our specialised Skills Centre is a short commute for residents of Ashby: Unit 2/22 Winton Rd, Joondalup WA 6027. The facility is just a 10-minute walk from the Joondalup Train Station and is easily reached via Pinjar Rd and the Mitchell Freeway. We offer plenty of free on-site parking for all students.

Delivery & Duration

  • Mode: Blended delivery, combining face-to-face classroom workshops with virtual learning sessions.
  • Classroom Duration: Approximately 10 weeks of structured training.
  • Work Placement: A mandatory 80-hour (2-week) practical component is required in addition to classroom hours.
  • Schedule: Classes take place 4 days a week, from 9am to 4.30pm.
  • Flexibility: Our rolling intake system allows students in Ashby to start their disability support courses almost immediately throughout the year.

Work Placement

To achieve competency, students are required to complete 80 hours of supervised work in a registered disability or aged care facility. This work placement is essential for demonstrating skills in a real-world environment. Placement commences once all classroom delivery is finished and will be coordinated by our training team.

Entry Requirements

To enrol in the CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support, you must have successfully completed:

  • CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability); or
  • CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability); or
  • CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability plus the specified entry skill set.

Eligibility & Lower Fee Pricing
