The course is developed to provide training to entry level workers who wish to start their career as an age care worker in a residential age care setting and, or as a care worker in a community-based setting, disability support worker, Disability care worker, Assistant in Nursing, NDIS worker to name a few. It will offer the skills and knowledge to work effectively as an individual and in groups to provide support and care to older people and people living with disabilities. You will learn to deliver these services as per the individualised care plan of an older people.
You can choose to specialise in aged care, disability or Home /Community care OR take all 3 specialisations
There is no pre-entry study or requirement for this course. You need to complete the following documents for your enrolment:
- Passport/Visa details
- Enrolment Form
- LLN assessment form
- Statutory declaration form
